Ana de Armas is a Cuban-Spanish actress who began her career in Cuba and later moved to Spain and then the United States to pursue acting.
She was born on April 30, 1988 in Havana, Cuba.
de Armas started acting at age 14, studying at the National Theatre School of Havana. She made her film debut in the 2006 Cuban drama, Una rosa de Francia.
