World 1,500 metres champion Asbel Kiprop has publicly admitted to cheating on his wife for two years with Nancy Rotich, woman in the raunchy video that went viral on social media.
Speaking to Switch TV, the athlete who has doping charges hanging over his head, said that his wife Sammary Cherotich has since left their home but he would like to “bring her back.”
In the candid interview, Kiprop also disclosed that Ms Rotich was also in a sexual relationship with a third man, whom he did not mention.
“She was also cheating on me I am sorry to say,” the athlete said.
According to Kiprop, Ms Rotich has since made things right with her husband, Henry Rotich who also happens to be his best friend.
“At the moment they (Nancy and her husband) are in good terms but I have a problem because my wife is running away but I want to bring her back,” he continued.

He also asked for forgiveness saying: “The bible says confess your sins so you shall be forgiven. I saw the tribulations that I was undergoing and I thought maybe there is a sin that I committed. I remember in 2015 I had a very good season (on the track).”
After the video went viral, his now ex-lover is said to have attempted to commit suicide. She allegedly underwent treatment at the Eldoret Hospital after she apparently took a poisonous substance.
