    African Union Applauds President Uhuru’s Directive On Issuance Of Visa

    The African Union (AU) has applauded  President Uhuru Kenyatta directive on visas upon entry for all Africans to promote Pan African-ism.

    The chairperson of the AU Moussa Faki Mahat said that the directive  was Historic and that all African countries in Africa should try emulate Kenya’s leader.

    President Uhuru Kenyatta also said he did not expect reciprocation of the visa entry from other countries but said that it would promote the potential for economic growth in Africa

    He also said that citizens of the East African community would be treated as Kenyans and would only need their national identity cards to travel .

    They would also subjected to the same regulations as Kenyans in terms of owning property and doing business.
