County Government of Siaya will construct a 20,000-seater ultra-modern stadium in ten months, the Governor Cornel Rasanga has disclosed. Chinese company Jiangsu Provincial Construction Group Company Ltd was awarded the job with Rasanga presiding over contract signing ceremony on Tuesday. Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks have been confirmed as Kenya’s representatives in the CAF interclubs next season. According to the latest list released by CAF, Gor will play in the CAF Champions League while Sharks will take part in the Confederation Cup. Leicester City have confirmed that their chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and four others died in Saturday’s helicopter crash outside King Power Stadium. The other occupants of the helicopter were two members of his staff Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and passenger Izabela Roza Lechowicz. Witnesses said the helicopter just cleared the King Power Stadium before it spiraled out of control and crashed in a fireball.
