Football Kenya Federation president Nick Mwendwa Kthuku has announced that he will be defending his seat after next year’s elective Annual General Meeting. Football Kenya Federation’s Annual General Meeting held in Kisumu on Saturday passed that any Kenyan Premier League club seeking to hire a foreign coach must seek their approval. The move according to the federation’s boss Nick Mwendwa will help guard against clubs hiring “tourists.” Tourists is a term used to refer to foreign coaches who are paid handsomely but deliver less than their local counterparts.
