Tanzanian Music Group ‘Offside trick’ famous for their Taarab music were dragged out of the stage during the Lamu cultural festival for their explicit dance moves. The group are said to have danced in moves that were distasteful to the coastal County’s cultural nature. The communication Authority of Kenya has issued a directive to media houses to stop airing political rallies in live broadcast. The Communication authority highlighted that the notice was in furtherance with the meeting held with the broadcasters to remind them of their obligations while airing political events.
