Kenyans took to social media platform Twitter to complain about the lack of development by governors despite the huge budgets that counties have been allocated for development. A report recently revealed that some of the counties received funds but there was no development track record. The twitter users  said that most of the governors had their priorities wrong in term of development. Some Kenyans have come forward accusing lawyer Apollo Mboya of selling them short by entering into a consent order with Kenya Power and Lighting Company Ltd (KPLC). They said that they felt betrayed by the decision by the lawyer to settle stating that the consent did not address the original prayers. They felt betrayed as the Kenyan people still bore the burden on account of over billing by KPLC. A Kenyan born journalist Kabir Dhanji has allegedly been selling bloody pictures from the Dusit D2 terror attack. Dhanji who has worked for some of renown international media houses put up the gory photos of victims and terrorists  and is selling them through Getty images. He has posted a total of 175 images from the attack. One image goes for Sh50,000 and the picture credits have been given to Associated foreign press. An Administration police officer in Naivasha shot his girlfriend nineteen times before turning the gun on himself. The officer identified as Gideon Emanman confronted his girlfriend, identified as Margaret Nduta while she was at work. It is alleged that the AP officer was drunk when he attacked his lover. “Thinking he had killed her, the officer retreated to the camp where he shot himself on the head dying on the spot,” he stated. Justice Chacha Mwita has ruled that Justice Warsame should be facilitated into his office as representative of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) by Chief Justice Maraga. The court found that section 40(1) of the JSC Act does not require oath of office for someone serving a second term. Justice Mwita also  said that the term of Justice Warsame would start immediately. Investigative journalist Ahmed Husein has been shot dead in Accra by unknown assailants. He was killed as he was going home. Hussein had complained after a local TV station aired his photos. A police spokesperson told AFP the journalist was shot in the neck and the chest by unknown gunmen on his way home on Wednesday night.
