Police have arrested a woman believe to have been living with terror suspect Ali Salim Gichunge alias Farouk, in Guango Estate – Ruaka. The lady identified as Violet Kemunto Omwoyo was arrested by anti terror police unit on Tuesday night. The Inspector General Joseph Boinet of police has revealed that six more bodies have been recovered from the Dusit D2 hotel complex. He also revealed that one police officer had succumbed to gunshot injuries while being treated. The IG revealed 16 Kenyans, one Briton, one American and three bodies of African decent had been recovered. He said that 28 people were receiving treatment in  various hospitals across Nairobi. Boinet confirmed that five terrorists had been eliminated while two people believed to have facilitated the attack had also been arrested. Justice Chacha Mwita has postponed giving orders  seeking unconditional return to school for 15 year old girl who was allegedly kicked out of Olympic secondary school in Kibra for wearing dreadlocks. The court said that the attorney general who had been enjoined in the matter had not filed his response and therefore the High Court could not issue further instructions. The High court instead gave the Attorney General five days to file a response  before further instructions could be given. Six people have perished along the Nakuru -Dundori road after a vehicle they were traveling in collided with a trailer. A witness said that the accident happened after the driver tried to negotiate a corner. “The matatu hit the side of the oncoming trailer as both negotiated a sharp bend from opposite directions,” an onlooker said. Combative Instructor Inayat Kassam is one of the people who responded to distress calls to rescue Kenyans inside the Dusit D2 complex. President Uhuru Kenyatta has confirmed that the security operations at the Dusit D2 Complex is over and all the terrorists have been eliminated. He also confirmed that 14 people had been killed and scores of people eliminated. He said that although we are in mourning but Kenya had shown the world that they could neutralize the attackers. A court in Nakuru has barred police from arresting former MP Joseph Kiuna over incitement remarks he made last week following cattle rustling clashes in the area. The court said that Kiuna should not be arrested until his anticipatory bail application is determined. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education(KCSE) results for 3427  students from 44 centres have been cancelled.  The Chairman of the Kenya National Examination council Professor George Magoha blamed unscrupulous exam centre managers,teachers and parents for enabling students to engage in exam malpractices. Magoha highlighted that triggers that that led KNEC to cancel exams stating that they detected cheating by noting that students in some centers having more than 200 candidates had similar or exact right or wrong answers in essays. Migori governor Okoth Obado is in trouble again after Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) officers camped in Migori to investigate the attempted ploy to murder former ally Jared Kwaga. The businessman had previously expressed fear for his life stating that he was being trailed by unidentified vehicles. The TV station had highlighted the plight of a Muslim girl whose family is said to have disappeared after being converted and joining the church.
