A video has emerged of Governor Sonko insulting businessman Mark Maina after he demolished the Nyama Villa estate in Kayole. In the video Sonko accused the business man of lying to the court and using a fake tittle to demolish the estate . The governor also accused Maina of bribing police officers in order to execute the demolitions. In the video he accused Maina of being a thief. Martha Karua has vowed to move  to the Supreme court after her appeal contesting the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat was dismissed by the Court of Appeal. Court of Appeal Judge Gatembu Kairu stated that there was no prejudice against Karua from the  the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s (IEBC) failure to produce the Kiem Kit. “There was no prejudice suffered by the appellant in failure by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to produce the Kenya Integrated Election Management System (KIMS) kit,” said the judge. The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has instructed five banks to release Sh61 million from accounts held by the Nairobi hospital. KRA sent notices to the Commercial Bank of Africa, Barclays, Standard Chartered, the National Industrial Credit Bank and the Kenya Commercial Bank. Migori county executive for health Dr. Isca Olouch has dismissed the sexually transmitted disease Jakadala saying it should be treated as a rumor. The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) secretary general Wilson Sossion has opposed the transfer of 3000 school heads at primary and the secondary level that was done by the Teachers service commission (TSC). The postal Corporation of Kenya has accused Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu of grabbing their land in Thika to construct a bus terminus. The Post master general Dan Kagwe says Governor Waititu did not ask for permission of the corporation before entering its 1.9 hectares of land with the plan of constructing a terminus. Nairobi hospital has confirmed that CEO Gordon Odundo has not been suspended from the hospital but has taken a compulsory leave to give room for the forensic audit. Odundo will be on leave for the next 90 days. “The Board has asked the Chief Executive Officer to proceed on ninety (90) days leave with effect from December 14, 2018, which includes his annual leave as had been approved by the chairman. The Consumer Federation of Kenya(COFEK) has moved to court to stop the Central Bank (CBK) from printing the new currency that was unveiled by President Kenyatta last week. According to COFEK, CBK contravened article 10 of the constitution and that there was no public participation before the new currency was unveiled.
