The Ethiopian government has announced that nationals of of African Union Member States will now be allowed to travel into Ethiopia without Visas but will be issued with visa at the point of arrival. The  ministry of Foreign affairs said that this move was aimed at having an integrated Africa as those were the dreams of their founding father. Police have arrested and dismissed a report filed by an employee at Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu’s house who claimed that he had been abducted by unknown assailants who demanded to know the residence of the DCJ. According to the report filed by Cosmas Mutua Daudi on November 8, 2017 he was followed by three men from Nakumatt Junction Mall where he had gone shopping. Material from the Standard Gauge Railway(SGR) were found in Naro Moru MCA Marin Matu’s house. Police recovered the material whose value amounts to Sh.1million at the legislators house and are said to have been stolen from the Nairobi Yard. The office off the DCI through their twitter page announced that the recovered rolls of Geogrid. These are flexible meshes that are used to reinforce walls, as well as sub-bases or subsoils below the structures as in the SGR. They have summoned the MCA to report to the DCI Railways on Monday. Female officer that was accused of killing a KCSE candidate in Dandora has a been identified as constable Mueni from Kinyago police post. Onlookers  said that 21 year old Samuel Musili became a victim of extra judicial killings owing to his curiosity. Tanzanian opposition leader Zitto Kabwe has been arrested following his remarks on the deadly clashes in Kigoma between pastrolists and the police, which left two policemen and scores of pastoralists dead. Despite the inspector General of Police visiting the area of clashes, they did not issue a statement prompting Mr Zitto to call for action. It is alleged that police have killed 17 people in  Dandora, Majengo and Mathare. Among those killed was Samuel Musili a KCSE student at Dandora Secondary School. The government of Uganda has denied claims that they have abandoned  the Standard gauge railway (SGR) connecting the two countries. Top lawyers Donald Kipkorir and Ahmednassir Abdullahi have differed with justice James Wakiaga’s ruling on Joseph Irungu alias Jowie on bail. They said that the compelling reasons that were used were not courteous in his ruling and that stating that Jowie was a flight risk was a ‘tired’ excuse. A banana vendor along Langata road was lucky to meet the president and make a killing this morning after he sold the bunch to the Head of State. Former Nairobi town clerk John Gakuo passed on after being taken ill at the Mbagathi Hospital. The former town clerk was serving a 3 year jail term for the Sh283m cemetery scam and abuse of office. His body has since been moved to the city mortuary.
