Five Kenya Defence Force (KDF) soldiers have been killed in Bodhei area of Boni Forest, Lamu County after a vehicle they were travelling in hit an IED. The last of the 11 black Rhinos that had been translocated to Tsavo National park has died. The Kenya wild life service communications boss Paul Udot confirmed that the rhino died after succumbing to injuries from a lion attack.
