Yvonne Wamalwa, widow of the late vice president Micheal Wamalwa has passed on. Sources close to the family have revealed that she died at her sisters house in Nanyuki. Family and friends are currently making arrangements to airlift her remains to the Lee funeral home. The cause of death is yet to be established. Yvonne Nambia Wamalwa was the wife of the eighth vice president of Kenya Micheal Kijana Wamalwa who died  in 2003 affter winning the general election under the National rainbow alliance. Governor Sonko has stated that no group will be given access to Uhuru park on January 30. This statement was made in response to the medical camp planned by Moses Kuria and the Nairobi business community. “No group will be allowed into Uhuru Park as we are currently doing renovations at the facility to improve its terraces and grass,the contractor is already on the ground,” the governor said. Kenya Railways police seem to be a busy lot, after sources intimated to Kahawa Tungu that they have been arresting passengers for using their mobile phones after alighting from the trains. Several students in Jamhuri High school have been injured after a fight broke out between Christian students and Muslim students. Raed: NEMA Shuts Down Kiza, Space Lounge, Jiweke Tavern And B Club For Noise Pollution It is alleged that the Muslim students were forcefully trying to induct the christian students into their Islam faith. Those who refused were stabbed, physically beaten and were asked to leave the school. The injured were rushed to hospital.
