Parts of Uhuru Highway are scheduled for a partial closure over the next five days, commencing tomorrow, according to the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA). US news organisation the New York Times is suing ChatGPT-owner OpenAI over claims its copyright was infringed to train the system. The lawsuit, which also names Microsoft as a defendant, says the firms should be held responsible for “billions of dollars” in damages. Michigan’s supreme court refused to hear an appeal by voters in the US state to disqualify Donald Trump from next year’s presidential primary. Police and the family of some of the men who were mowed down by bullets in Buruburu, Nairobi have identified them. Three of the four men were identified by family members as coming from Gitaru area, Kiambu County. A fourth man is yet to be identified. Three fishermen who went missing in the Indian Ocean for 27 days have been rescued. Unfortunately, one of their colleagues was discovered dead during the ordeal. Prosecutors in France have launched a homicide investigation after five bodies were found in a town north-east of Paris. The bodies are of a family. According to local media reports, the victims are a woman and her four young children. Their bodies were found in the town of Meaux which is just over 41km (25 miles) from the French capital. They were discovered in an apartment, the local prosecutor told the media. Police said they are looking for the 33-year-old father, who is “on the run”. A plane carrying hundreds of Indian nationals who were held for days at an airport in France over human trafficking fears arrived in India Tuesday. The chartered Airbus A340, which had been flying from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nicaragua, aroused suspicion during a refuelling stop. A six-year-old child died in a house fire on Monday, December 25, at police quarters in Kayole. Police said the deceased’s twin sister suffered serious burn injuries and is being treated at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). Their mother, a police officer at the Kayole police station was in the house with the children when the fire broke out.
