Policewoman attached at Jogoo Police Station Corporal Caroline Mango has been charged with tax fraud. Ms Mango who was on Tuesday accused by the DCI of deliberately failing to remit taxes linked to her four companies was on Thursday charged with evading taxes amounting to Sh8 million. A 15 year old girl of Kenyan descent living in Germany has been found dead. The young girl only identified as Britney is said to have fled home after getting into a heated argument with her mother on Monday evening. A court on Wednesday suspended the appointment of former Othaya MP Mary Wambui as the chair of National Employment Authority (NEA). Wananchi Group’s Pay TV and internet firm, Zuku is experiencing internet outage. According to the firm, they are experiencing an outage on their main undersea cable hence the slow internet speeds. “We have an outage on our main undersea cable. Kenya’s largest telecommunications company Safaricom has introduced non-expiring data and voice bundles. This comes a day after lawyer and ICT practitioner Adrian Kamotho dragged Safaricom, Telkom, Airtel to court over the expiry of data bundles. Former commissioner of police Duncan Wachira is receiving treatment at an Indian hospital. According to former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim, Mr Wachira suffered a heart attack three months ago and has been admitted at Apollo Protocol Hospital, India. Digital strategist Dennis Itumbi was in a Twitter spat with lawyer Donald Kipkorir over marathon great Eliud Kipchoge’s threat to sue NRG Radio for breach of privacy and brand. DCI detectives are looking into suspicious transactions linked to Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa. According to the Standard, the embattled lawmaker received Sh500 million in kickbacks from projects managed by the county government. Of the Sh500 Million, Sh100 million was received from her constituency CDF kitty. The monies were traced to accounts belonging to her, close allies and her child.
