Devolution Principal Secretary (PS) Julius Korir and his estranged wife have been allowed a month to reconcile their differences before a judgment is made on whether he will be charged with domestic violence or not. The medical regulator has summoned the Nairobi Hospital over the detention of a lecturer and later his remains due to a Sh11 million payment. Stephen Mukuha, one of the directors of Tuskys supermarket, a family-owned business, has died. Mr Mukuha passed away on Sunday at Nairobi Hospital after being in a coma for nearly a month following brain tumor surgery. At the time of his death, Mukuha was also battling cancer. Pay TV service provider, Multichoice has denied allegations that it is trying to demolish a building contrary to the law. God is to blame for the collapse of the Sh100 million Paai bridge on Thursday, Kajiado Governor Joseph Lenku has said. In a statement read on his behalf by county minister Alex Kilowua, the county boss said reinforcements will be carried out on the bridge that came down following heavy rains. “This is an act of God, but we will not leave anything to chance. A 35-year-old man was mauled to death by a pack of hyenas in Athi Village in Kiambu County on Wednesday night. At around 1 a.m., Robert Mwangi was heard screaming for help, sources intimated. Neighbors hurried to the scene, but could not save him from the hyenas’ cackle.
