Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos was a victim of gun drama after a drunk forest guard threatened to shoot him on Tuesday. Three people were on Tuesday arrested for impersonating DCI detectives and trying to extort Teachers Service Commission (TSC) chief executive Nancy Macharia. Three key witnesses in the murder probe of actor Jamal Nassul alias Baba Junior have gone missing, prosecution told a Machakos High Court as they sought for more time to look into the matter. The prosecution told the court that the three witnesses are no where to be found. Diamond’s manager, Babu Tale has broken silence over the ban placed on Wasafi Festival by Basata, saying that the Kenyan performances are still on as scheduled. In a statement made by Basata on Tuesday, the National Arts Council banned Diamond and Rayvanny from performing within and outside Tanzania, on the grounds of their disrespect to the board. Tanzanian singers Diamond Platnumz and his Wasafi signee Rayvanny have been banned by the music regulatory board, Basata, from performing within and without the country. The two were banned for continuously disregarding the board’s stand on the vile new hit record “Mwanza.” Basata in November banned the duo from performing the song and demanded that they pull down the hit from various online platforms. The Supreme Court of Kenya has announced that it will deliver ruling and judgements for various applications and election petitions on December 21, 2018. 85 year old Mzee Jackson Kibor won a divorce case against his third wife, Naomi Jeptoo. Eldoret Magistrate Naomi Wairimu ruled to allow the divorce on the grounds that both parties consented to the divorce application. Mzee Kibor filed the case on the grounds that Ms Jeptoo denied him his conjugal rights and was cruel to him. A Kisumu court has sentenced Bishop Joseph Agutu Obala to 75 years in jail for defiling three minors and deliberately infecting one of them with HIV. Each defilement crime attracted a 20 year sentence which he will serve consecutively, while the latter offence earned him 15 years behind bars.
