The Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji has appointed British Legal Counsel Khawar Qureshi to lead the prosecution against high profile graft cases. In a notice shared from the DPP’s office on Tuesday, Khawar Qureshi was single sourced by the ODPP after failing to find a suitable candidate for the position of private legal counsel. Inspector General Joseph Boinnet stepped out in the new Police uniform and Kenyans could not keep calm. Boinnet donned the new uniform for the general duty officers which comprises of a Persian-blue shirt and trousers of the same color. The government has postponed the deadline date of out facing the old passports and bringing in the e-passport to 2020. This decision was a result of the low number of citizens who have changed their passports to the new passports with electronic features. Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has apologized to commuters who were on Monday morning stranded after a decision to ban matatus from the Central Business District (CBD).
