SIM swap scammers are using the IEBC register to register SIM cards, DCI George Kinoti has warned mobile subscribers. The Court of appeal has upheld the election of Starehe MP, Charles ‘Jaguar’ Njagua Kanyi. This comes after businessman Steve Mbogo appealed the High Court’s decision that it did not find an error in the election’s compliance with the constitution. All the 47 Woman Representatives cannot account for Sh4 billion allocated for projects, Auditor General Edward Ouko has revealed. “Even though there were board minutes to support approval of transfer of funds to the county committees detailing the amounts and the period, the basis of approvals were not provided for verification,” he said in his 2017 report. Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko has stopped the ongoing construction of the Avic Towers along Waiyaki way in Westlands. Members of Parliament on Wednesday asked the assembly to provide blind masseurs at the parliament gymnasium. Nominated MP, David Sankok tabled the report compiled by the Members’ Services and Facilities Committee asking the Parliamentary Service Commission to bring on board blind masseurs since they are better at the job. “We are asking Parliament to go to the Machakos School for the Blind and hire some of those people because they can do a better job,” said Sankok. Zari Hassan has been forced to postpone Princess Tiffah’s birthday party after the death of her brother in-law, Sir Pinto Semwanga.
