There was drama in Machakos High Court after a man drew his gun threatening to shoot former Kathiani MP, Wavinya Ndeti’s son. They were in court for the hearing of a petition filed against Machakos Governor, Alfred Mutua challenging his August 8 win. Ms Ndeti says that the gun wielding man was part of Governor Mutua’s security team. The man was taken away by the police when things got heated. Political Analyst, Tony Gachoka has asked NASA leader Raila Odinga to move on and instead wait for 2022. Meru Senator Mithika Linturi is in court fighting University of Nairobi’s (UoN) decision to de-register him as a student in the School of Law. Linturi wants the court to compel the institution of higher earning to re-admit him as a student. Education CS, Fred Matiang’i has warned that institutions of higher learning holding Letters of Interim Authority risk closure after an audit set to be undertaken by the Commission for University Education (CUE). Elijah Mbugua, owner of a 33-seater PSV, Registration number KCG 784M plying the Ongata Rongai route has accused Choda Fabricators of refusing to honour a written agreement after the matatu (Schizzo) was destroyed in a fire while in their possession. Mbugua says that he delivered the matatu to Chado in October 2016 after his insurance company declined to underwrite the claim. Economist and Chief NASA strategist David Ndii is today (Monday) expected to appear at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for probe over incitement to violence. An ex-General Service Unit (GSU) officer on Thursday evening escaped from Siaya GK prison after being held for only three weeks. Francis Musyoka was serving the death sentence before he jumped over the prison fence, making his way into a nearby thicket, a source told the Star. ”Our officers have erected roadblocks all over since last evening.
