Teachers have through the KNUT Chairman, Mudzo Nzili denied endorsing NASA presidential flag bearer, Raila Odinga. The union’s Secretary General, Wilson Sossion had allegedly endorsed Raila and was said on being in ODM’s list of nominated members of parliament. “National steering committee and national executive council have not declared anything for teachers or support for NASA,” he said. A Kenyan man and two Ugandans were arrested in Uganda over possible involvement in the murder of IEBC ICT manager, Chris Msando. The Kenyan was identified as Mathew Butia. The other two were identified as Joseph Okongo and Moses Goloba. The Ugandan Flying squad is said to have trailed the trio and taken into custody a car they were traveling in. NASA presidential tallying centre located at the Sifa Towers was raided by armed men on Friday night. The men were armed with AK47 rifles and are said to be around 30 in number. The 8 pm raid saw NASA employees who are mostly college students lie on the floor while the men ravaged the place. They took away their phones, notebooks and national identity cards.
