NASA co-principal, Kalonzo Musyoka has been asked by the government to apologize over his unjustified remarks in regard to Chris Msando death. Musyoka linked the commissioner’s death to the Jubilee government. In his address to the media, the Wiper party leader blamed the government of Chris’ death and asked acting CS Interior Security to explain to Kenyans who was behind the killings. The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) will be monitoring the conduct of the police during the August 8 poll. IPOA will be monitoring the officers’ compliance to professionalism, human rights and fundamental freedoms and fostering of relations with the society. A postmortem on IEBC ICT manager, Chris Msando’s friend, Carol Ngumbu was on Thursday conducted at the city mortuary. The autopsy results show that the 21 year old KMTC student died out of ligature strangulation. Carol had gone out for drinks with Msando before they went missing later on in the night. A Bungoma man died after taking excess chang’aa on an empty stomach on Wednesday. The man who has been identified as Edwin Mulamba was found unconscious by his neighbours. His elder brother, Isaac Kasili informed the area chief of the happenings who called an ambulance that rushed Mulamba to the hospital. Human Rights Activist, Okiyah Omtatah has sued the IEBC over their decision to not have voters hang around the polling station after voting. A postmortem conducted on the late IEBC ICT manager Chris Musando’s remains has revealed that he was strangled to death. The autopsy was conducted by the Government Chief Pathologist Johansen Oduor and Bessie Byakika for the family at the Lee Funeral Home. ”Strangulation was the cause of death,” Dr Odour said. The pathologist also said the commissioner was strangled with bare hands. Msando’s back had deep scratches, a clear indication of being dragged on a rough surface or scratches.
