South African President, Jacob Zuma’s biggest critic has parliament and police provide security for her, an ANC MP after a number of death threats against her. Two Tanzanian believers on Sunday, July 16 drowned during a river baptism. The two male ranchers drowned in the River Ungwasi after being overwhelmed by strong currents while being immersed in the water as part of the baptism ceremony conducted by the pastor of the Shalom Church in the Rombo area. The Githurai bound matatu crew that stripped a woman naked and later sexually assaulted her in December 2014 has been sentenced to death. Bus driver Nicholas Mwangi, conductor Meshack Mwangi and Edward Ndung’u were found guilty of robbery with violence and assault by Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi. The first batch of ballot papers for the governor seat arrived in the country on Tuesday night. IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba said the ballot papers are for governor seat for 41 counties. “We still expect the ballots for senate and women rep seats later this week,” Chiloba said.
