Kenya has confirmed 404 new Covid-19 infections from a sample size of 6,309 tested in the last 24 hours. This is a positivity rate of 6.4 per cent. In a statement, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said that 390 of the cases are Kenyans while 14 are foreigners. From the new cases, 206 are males while 198 are females, with the youngest being a six-day-old infant, while the oldest is 106. Naftali Kinuthia, the prime suspect in the most brutal murder of Moi University student, Ivy Wangechi, had allegedly demanded Sh200,000 from the deceased. A witness in the Monica Kimani murder case testified that he received a strange “love” message from her on the night she was killed. A Nairobi court on Monday allowed the police to hold a woman who attempted to sneak into the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) maternity ward to steal a baby.
