Mojo of Morgan Heritage has switched off his Kenyan phone number, and now could be on his way out of the country with dues owed to artistes and event organisers following flopped event, Tomorrow’s Leaders concert. In a communication sent to newsrooms, artistes and organisers now want Nairobi governor Mike Sonko and the US to intervene before Mojo of Morgan Heritage flees the country, who was the architects of the event. It is true that Deputy President William Ruto called the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) over alleged plot to assassinate him, director George Kinoti has confirmed. Cannabis sales could hit a global high of Ksh1.5 trillion this year following the legalisation of the plant in Canada, CNN has reported. This will be a 36 percent increase from the sales witnessed in 2018, according to “The State of Legal Cannabis Markets” report by Arcview. Police in Elgeyo Marakwet are investigating an incidence where an alleged family fight left a son and father dead. According to reports by the Standard,  the incidence happened in Embobut Location, Marakwet East constituency where the father hacked his son, Alex Ruto, 21, to death using a machete after an argument. A class eight pupil was on Saturday hacked to death by a 19-year-old form four candidate from Kakamega County over a boyfriend. According to reports, the two girls from Lukose in Khayega location are had been fighting over a boyfriend before the crime. The Arab parliament has issued a warning to Kenya on the maritime border issue between herself and Somalia. The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has ruled out possibilities  of extending the Ksh1,000 bank note withdrawal deadline. Addressing journalists on Thursday, CBK governor Patrick Njoroge said that extending the deadline would see the purpose of demonitisation process beaten. “The answer on an extension is no. The Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) has lost at least 551,000 litres of fuel at Kiboko, Makueni county oil spillage valued at Ksh63 million.
