A man in Kiambu has killed his wife before committing suicide by consuming poison over what he termed as a stressful marriage in a suicide note. A 20-year old man in Bondo, Siaya County has been arrested for beating to pulp a man believed to be his mother’s lover. The man identified as David Omondi confronted his victim for allegedly dating his mother, demanding to know why the man dated his mother despite knowing that she was married. Former Amagoro MP Fredrick Oduya Oprong has died at the age of 83. Oprong died last night at around 11.20pm at the Kenyatta National Hospital, where he had been rushed for treatment. Facebook wiped out over 3 billion fake accounts from October 2018 to March 2019, according to a report released Thursday. President Uhuru Kenyatta has launched the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC), a financial institution aimed at providing long-term loans to primary mortgage lenders. The body will target primary mortgage providers including Banks, Microfinance Banks especially for the affordable housing pillar of the Big Four Agenda. A Ksh21 billion wind power project in Lamu could stall, following alleged frustrations by Kenya Power pushing key financiers to the brink. The project in Mpeketoni has a potential of producing 90 megawatts was to start in 2016, but it is reported that Kenya Power has failed to sign and approve the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), forcing the key financiers to contemplate pulling out.
