Property of unknown value was on Wednesday morning destroyed after a fire razed down Kibuye market, Kisumu County. According to reports, the fire gutted down a hotel and some stalls. The 6:40 am fire is claimed to have started from a traditional medicine store and spread to nearby shops. Luckily, some traders were able to salvage their goods and property as firefighters managed to contain the fire on time. Police have already launched an investigation into the cause of the fire. Police officers are on a mission to identify a “mystery driver” of a black SUV who on Sunday dropped off the former Treasury employee, Judith Mwai and her daughter Catherine Mwai, who were found dead in their South B home. According to reports, the rider was beaten senselessly before he was rushed to hospital by good samaritans. He was however declared dead on arrival. Police officers have divulged that another child’s body was recovered on Monday evening from the rubbles of the collapsed classroom at Precious Talent School.
