An officer attached to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)  has been arrested for allegedly stealing Ksh416,000 which was part of an exhibit to be used in a case she was handling. According to detectives, Officer Lilian Jan Simiyu, who works in Mombasa County is also accused of destroying evidence which was to be used in the case. A couple in Meru County is in trouble after a gang that was allegedly hired by them to discipline their son, killed him. Three people have on Thursday afternoon been arrested after being found selling suspected bush meet at Burma Market. The three were arrested following a crackdown conducted by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officers. The cabinet has on Thursday banned the adoption of children by foreign nationals in Kenya. In a directive issued following the special cabinet meeting held at State House, Nairobi chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection was directed to formulate a new policy document to regulate the adoption of children by foreign nationals in Kenya.
