Toyota Kenya has signed a distribution partnership with Suzuki Motor Corporation to sell Suzuki cars in the country. China fish imports have steadily increased in the Kenyan market over the years,with the highest record being marked last year by 11.8 percent. The State Department of Fisheries has noted that in 2018 alone, Kenya imported 22,362 tonnes of fish mainly from China, which values at approximately Ksh1.7 billion. In 2017, Kenya imported 19,127 tonnes worth Ksh1.5 billion, a trend that has raised concerns from local traders who are facing stiff competition due to the presence of cheap supplies. A report published by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has divulged that Raila Odinga’s National Super Alliance (NASA) lied to Kenyans, when they announced that they had been denied access to the election servers. The spokesman for South Sudan’s opposition leader James Gatdet Dak has accused Kenyan authorities of taking part in his alleged kidnapping, deportation to his home country and death sentence. Mercy Wanjiku Muthui, a Kenyan musician, was found dead by the police in a ditch in Jargersgreek, Netherlands. Ms Wanjiku, who lived with her husband Daniel Erhardt and her five month-old son, was found in a ditch fence of the background garden of where she lived. Before her body was found, the deceased’s husband had filed a missing person’s report to the police.
