Residents of Kisumu are a worried lot after one of the non-governmental organisations in the lakeside city donated more than 200 body bags to the police for using during the upcoming elections. Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Group and Chinese financial service provider UnionPay International, have entered into a digital payment partnership. The partnership will see the issuance of UnionPay Prepaid Travel Mate cards in the Eastern Africa region through the KCB group network. A Kakamega county resident has killed his cousin for being a strong supporter of Raila Odinga in the forthcoming elections. According to police report, the man from Ikolomani came home drunk and started threatening his relatives in the homestead while armed with a panga.
