Two opinion polls by The Star and IPSOS A survey released by Infotrak Research and Consulting gives none of the leading contenders for the presidency a clear lead. According to the poll by IPSOS, Raila is at 44per cent while Uhuru is at 47 per cent giving the President a comfortable margin in the race. A non-governmental organisation belonging to Rosemary Odinga has had its accounts frozen by the NGOs coordination board after more than Ksh 530 million was transferred to the NGO’s accounts from abroad. Murang’a MCA aspirant Patrick Kahari has gone missing after reporting that some people were following him. The youthful candidate for Kanyenya-ini ward in Kangema sub-county has been missing since July 24, a day after reporting the threats at Kangema police station. This is the second aspirant missing after one Clifford Mwalo of Kajulu ward in Kisumu county also disappeared and is yet to be traced after boarding a plane to China. NASA Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga has tonight rescinded the appointment of Orengo as NASA Chief Agent in the forthcoming election. The NASA leader has instead made Orengo an alternative Chief Agent to Musalia Mudavadi while Olga Karani will be the deputy Chief Agent. The earlier announcement that Orengo would be Chief Agent was never approved by Raila who only heard of it in the media like everyone else. A twitter user going by the name Hadija has posted photos of Chris Musando’s car. Chris Musando has been missing since Friday when he left home for work. He reportedly called his wife at around 2am on Saturday morning that he was on the way home from drinking with some friends in town. IEBC’s acting Director of ICT, Chris Msando, has been reported missing since Saturday. According to people in the organisation, the acting director who stays in Nyayo Estate has been missing with no trace as to where he went or has been since yesterday. The IEBC is in a busy mode that there is no way he would not report to work or his location as he holds a key position in the organisation.
