Jubilee tag team of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto has pledged to revive the suffering Mumias Sugar Company if re-elected.

Speaking in Kakamega County while addressing a gathering of Jubilee supporters at the Nabongo grounds in Mumias Town, President Uhuru said that they have already invested Ksh3.7 billion to have the miller remain operational.

They also explained that they have given further amounts to pay farmers their pending cane delivery earnings. Some of the payments were made at the rally.

It is estimated that Mumias requires at least Ksh 6billion to return to its former glory. The president also promised that his government will jail those who brought the miller to its knees.

They asked Raila to pay the debts he owes Mumias.
