At least two people were Thursday evening following clashes between supporters of two Kasipul parliamentary by-election candidates during a political rally in Opondo area in Central Kasipul Ward, Homa Bay County. A quarrel over a mauled piglet in Kopolo, Bondo, Siaya County turned tragic when a man attacked and killed his neighbour. The assailant had apparently warned the neighbour against chasing his dogs. Police said Moses Owuor died at Uyawi Hospital after an attack in his house. Owuor was a caretaker at a home where the owner has pigs. Detectives are investigating separate incidents where suspected thieves broke into two churches and stole property in Kiganjo area, Nyeri County. The incidents happened at the PCEA Ndurutu Church and their neighboring Catholic Church on November 5, police said. Managers at the churches said they had on Sunday November 2 closed the facilities after their services. When they went back on November 4, they found them broken into and property stolen.
