There was panic when a man attacked and killed an armed police officer manning the State House, Nairobi. The General Service Unit officer, identified as Ramadhan, was speared in the chest by a 56-year-old man who was arrested at the scene. A 67-year-old man was stabbed and killed in a robbery along Igobor road, Kaptembwo, Nakuru County. Police said the deceased identified as William Nyabera who was a retired driver at the Ministry of Information was headed to his resident at Igobor from Nakuru town riding a motorcycle when he was attacked by an unknown number of thugs. Police are investigating an incident where unknown thieves broke into the rural house of former trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuiria and stole his household goods.
