A 19-year-old died after being trapped by a borehole that collapsed in Kathonzweni, Makueni County. Police said Janet Ndulu was among four people who were on Saturday fetching water from a community borehole in the area when the concrete foundation collapsed. The foundation collapsed into the water with the four who were trapped therein. The four were rushed to the hospital where Ndulu was pronounced dead on arrival.
