A 36-year-old man died after he jumped off from the sixth floor of a building in South C, Nairobi. Police said Abdirizak Abdirahman died after landing on the ground floor of the apartment in the September 1, 2025 incident at about 1 pm. Police are investigating an incident where a grade nine pupil died after being assaulted at a boarding school in Narok Town. The incident happened at the Narok SDA School and involved a 14-year-old boy, police said. A landslide has killed at least 1,000 people in the remote Marra Mountains in western Sudan, according to the rebel group The Sudan Liberation Movement/Army.
