There is growing public outcry after National Transport and Safety Authority’s TIMS system jammed now for the last one month. According to individual motor vehicle dealers and owners, registration of new vehicles and transfers cannot happen now for 4 weeks as NTSA refuse to give a reason why the system is now working. The Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) has put two members of parliament on the spot for misusing military ranks. In a letter to the National Assembly, EACC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Twalib Mbarak accused Sirisia MP John Waluke and his Kimilili counterpart Didmus Barasa of impersonating Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officers by using ranks they never attained while serving in the military. A motorbike theft syndicate unearthed by police in Laikipia has exposed the sad state of affairs in the country leaving youths unemployed and plunged into debts. A policewoman attached at Thika Police Station has declined to be redeployed following a robbery with violence incident involving Andrew Ngirici. Andrew is the husband to Kirinyaga Woman Rep Purity Ngirici.
