A High Court has declined to stop Azimio la Umoja protests. Justice Hedwig Ong’undi on Monday ruled that the court cannot force police to ensure peaceful processions and assembly. The plant located in Industrial Area was on Monday attacked by individuals who arrived on motorcycles. In videos seen by this writer, the intruders cut down trees using power saws and set a section of the expansive farm on fire. They also made away with a yet-to-be-known number of livestock. A knife-wielding gang has attacked international and local journalists in Kibra, Nairobi County. Reports indicate that the gang started by pelting stones at the reporters around DO area. Kenya Railways has suspended commuter train services on Monday ahead of planned Azimio la Umoja demonstrations. The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has said that the decision to censure six TV stations over the coverage of Azimio protests was taken out of context. This was after a High Court suspended the censure of the TV stations; K24, NTV, Citizen TV, TV47, Ebru TV and KBC.
