An air traffic controller at Moi International Airport in Mombasa surprised his colleagues when he jumped to his death on Friday afternoon. According to eye witnesses, the traffic controller who was on duty during the landing of the body of a doctor who committed suicide in Cuba, jumped from the tower, dying on the spot. According to KCAA, the Aerodrome Control Officer died after jumping from the tower and his colleagues who were on duty will be counselled as the incident affected them. A car belonging to Embakasi West member of Parliament George Theuri’s wife Cynthia Gitonga was on Saturday impounded by DCI detectives.
