The legislator is looking to recover court fees associated with a defamation suit brought against him last year by the Kenyatta family-owned company. The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Monday temporarily suspended all flights. In a statement, the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) explained that the suspension was due to the temporary closure of the runway. An M-Pesa attendant was on Friday shot in Nairobi’s Highrise Area as he walked home from work. Mr Jacob Aoko Opati sustained grave injuries after being shot in the stomach and left hand by two gunmen. Kenya’s Taifa 1 satellite has successfully been launched after three failed attempts. The satellite was launched in the USA, California at Vandenberg Air Force Base on Saturday at around 9:44 am. The launch was on Friday delayed 28 seconds before liftoff due to what the Kenya Space Agency (KSA) referred to as “unfavorable upper-level wind conditions that would affect the rocket’s flight trajectory”. Kenya’s Ambassador to Germany Tom Amolo has refuted claims that he has been evicted from his home over rent arrears. The opposition in a letter dated April 14 wants the Hague to investigate nine issues.
