Some of the livestock stolen at the Uhuru Kenyatta-owned Northlands Farm have been returned. According to sources within the police service, at least 18 sheep have so far been returned to the expansive farm that was invaded last month. It is said that individuals believed to be aides attached to two Nairobi politicians have been quietly dropping off the sheep near the farm located in Ruiru. According to those privy to the goings-on, five sheep were on Wednesday found at Dandora Police Station. They were then identified by the farmhands by special marks on them. Nakuru senator and Keroche CEO Tabitha Karanja has been charged afresh in the Sh14.5 billion tax evasion case. The legislator on Thursday appeared before Milimani senior principal magistrate Esther Kimilu where she pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of tax evasion. This is after the prosecution requested to amend the charges. Whitepath Company Limited has been Sh5 million by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner for violating the data protection law. The digital lender is said to have disregarded the enforcement notification dated January 10. The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has taken legal action against a former aide to late President Daniel Moi over a Sh10 million land scam in Kabarnet town in Baringo County. Police are probing the mysterious death of a passenger whose remains were discovered at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) waiting lounge. The 43-year-old male was headed for Mombasa on Saturday night but did not show up on the plane.
