Sospeter Ojaamong’s led Busia County Budget committee is allegedly scheduled for a trip to Dubai together with select members of executive arm to study how to do a budget for Busia. A concerned member of the County expressed worry that the team has set out 53million for the one week trip starting Saturday 16th Dec 2017. Allegedly, the high budget trip comes at a time when the County is yet to issue bursaries,  County staff have no insurance and no single cooperative has received allocation. Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso has been accused of shortchanging a young Kalenjin vernacular musician who graced Jubilee campaign trails in the Rift Valley. Marion Cherotich famous for the hit campaign song “Jubilee Emet” (Jubilee tosha” is said to have been awarded Toyota Probox and 250K by DP Ruto and a Tractor plus half a million  by the President through Governor Laboso. Majority leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale this morning took issues with female colleagues who wear “tight trousers in the Chambers.” Duale threatened to file a motion on how some women dressed in the house citing”lack of decorum.’ “Mr. Speaker, today I will talk to them but if it goes on, I will file a motion, over the same. Kisumu’s  Governor Anyang Nyong’o and the County’s Senator Fred Outa were in bed in the period leading to August election but it seems the honeymoon is over. The union that saw Outa deliver the coveted Kano votes to Nyong’o’s basket is a troubled one. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has de-registered 41 teachers for having sexual relations with students, insubordination and negligence. Through a gazette notice,the Commission’s Chief Executive Office Nancy Macharia stated that a teacher whose name is removed from the register of teachers ceases to be a teacher with effect from the date of removal and is not allowed to teach in public or private schools. “Where the name of a teacher is removed from the Register of Teachers, such a person shall not be reinstated except by direction of the Commission. Over 10,000 have applied for Retail chain Tuskys Supermarket’s 800 Internship positions, 20 out of which have Maters Degree signaling a woeful job market. This follows the Retail chain’s advert  for its fourth cohort,where only 1,700 were shortlisted for interviews. Airtel Kenya is contemplating exiting from Kenya where it is the second largest operator, Rwanda and Tanzania markets and is in active discussions to explore a mix of an intra-country sale, a purchase or a merger.
