A gas explosion in a fast food restaurant around Kamukunji area has left several people seriously injured and rushed to the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). The gas explosion happened at Classio Hotel near country bus. According to a statement by the St John Ambulance, at least 14 people have been left serious wounds, and have been rushed to KNH to receive treatment. “At least 14 people have been injured including a minor after a gas cylinder exploded at a fast food joint in Kamukunji,” read the statement. The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has unveiled a list of commodities and products suspended due to substandard value, with a directive to all companies manufacturing them to discontinue. Through a Twitter post, KEBS made it clear to the public that the products had been suspended stating that after a market surveillance the products were found to contain higher amounts of levels of Aflatoxin  hence unfit for human consumption. A family is seeking help over their kin, Ashford Mwangi Mburu, a driver who has allegedly been illegally detained in South Sudan. The family claims that all their efforts to intervene and have their brother brought back home have proved futile, hence resorting to seek help from President, Uhuru Kenyatta. The Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) has officially terminated the contract of Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General Wilson Sossion. Through a gazette notice dated October 29, the commission has deregistered Sossion as a teacher and barred him from teaching in any school whether public or private. “The Teachers Service Commission has removed the name of the individual named herein (Wilson Sossion) from the register of teachers. Twitter has announced a ban on political adverts from all its platforms globally beginning next month. Through the Company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jack Dorsey,the platform announced that all political advertisements would be banned due to the growing concerns over misinformation effective November 22. “We believe political message reach should be earned, not bought.
