Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has called on the government to transfer all police bosses in Gatundu, whom he accuses of colliding with criminal gangs to cause insecurity. Kenyans will now be required to obtain a license in order to hold fundraisers famously known as harambees, a newly proposed law indicates. This puts Kenyans under scrutiny as the bill proposes that contributors should declare the amount to be contributed, source of income and file an annual tax declaration with the taxman. Two people in Lamu have been fined Sh3 million for killing a turtle that was part of the endangered species. The two, Harun Seif and Madi Athman were found in possession of freshly killed green turtle meat and upon inquiry and investigations they confirmed to having trapped and killed it.
