Kenya has confirmed 26 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours after 1,346 samples were tested. The cumulative caseload is now at 253,879. This brings the positivity to 1.9% and the cumulative tests so far conducted at 2,743,182. Sadly, 2 deaths have been recorded bringing the cumulative fatalities to 5,314. Ibrahim Rotich, estranged husband to murdered athlete Agnes Tirop was at the crime scene the afternoon his wife was murdered. This is according to a recently reviewed CCTV footage. A Monday morning fatal accident along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway has left two people dead, 2 others critically injured. This has been confirmed by Athi River sub-county police commander Anderson Njagi who revealed that the accident involved a lorry and a trailer at 6AM. The newly constructed dormitory in Maranda High School has gone up in flames in the latest case of students unrest. Reports indicate that the students claimed they were fatigued and needed a break, before going ahead and setting the dormitory on fire. The dormitory is said to hold at least 500 students.
