Detectives have arrested notorious bitcoin fraudsters in Nakuru’s Milimani Estate. In an operation that has been going on for weeks, two students from Kenyatta University, Francis Maina Wambui Alias Nick aged 26, and Zellic Alusa aged 25 were named as masterminds. Two other young ladies were also busted and arrested during the operation. A police officer in Siaya is set to be charged for a sexual assault incident on a woman who was in custody. The Commission for University Education (CUE) has revoked the recognition of Johnson Sakaja’s degree from Team University. 25 passengers are nursing serious injuries after the Nyaugenya Bus they were traveling in collided with a motorbike in Siaya. The bus was en route Siaya town before it knocked down a motorbike. Kenya has confirmed 213 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours after 2,147 samples were tested. The country’s caseload is now at 327,145. The positivity rate is now at 9.9% and cumulative tests so far conducted are 3,703,840. County distribution is as follows: Nairobi 139, Kitui 44, Kilifi 13, Nyeri 8, Mombasa 4, Kiambu 3, Embu and Siaya 1 case each. 150 patients have recovered from the disease, 135 from the Home-Based and Isolation Care Program while 15 are from various health facilities countrywide. UDA’s Nairobi Gubernatorial Candidate Johnson Sakaja has insisted that his qualifications and academic credentials are not in doubt adding that he graduated from Team University in Uganda.
