A Nairobi court has found two people accused of being behind the Westgate terror attack guilty of conspiring to commit a terror attack. The two are the first and fourth accused; Mohamed Abdul and Hussein Mustafa. In a ruling delivered on Wednesday, Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi acquitted the second accused, Liban Abdullah Omar, of all the charges levelled against him for lack of evidence. Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has declared the registration of nicotine pouches popularly known as LYFT illegal. In a letter to the Pharmacy and Poisons Board CEO Fred Siyoi, the CS wants the nicotine pouches deregistered. He argues its licensing was done contrary to the provisions of Section 25 of the Pharmacy and Poisons Act CAP 224. The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the country has risen to 39,499 after 22 more people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
