Comedian and host Nathan Kimani popularly known as JB Masanduku has opened up on going through a harrowing experience after divorcing his ex-wife, radio presenter Tina Kaggia. The late former Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Hezron Manduku wore a mtumba shirt for more than 15 years, Kahawa Tungu has learnt. Manduku, who also served as Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Masaba, died on Saturday night at the age of 79. Speaking during an interview with the Nairobian, about four years ago, the late legislator said he bought the Mtumba shirt in Mombasa in 2003 while on an official visit. The Ministry of Education has rescheduled opening date for all schools for term three. In a circular directed to all Regional and County Directors of Education, Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang stated that the opening dates have been pushed forward by a week. The schools, which were earlier scheduled to open on August 26, will now open on September 2 and close on October 25, 2019. Law Society of Kenya President Allen Gichuhi has rubbished claims by one of the society representatives in the Willie Kimani murder case that city lawyer Cliff Ombeta is not licensed to practice in the country. On Thursday, the representative, Stephen Ongoro, told Justice Jessie Lesiit that LSK had withdrawn Ombeta’s license. Ongoro further said that Ombeta doesn’t have enough LSK points to practise law. Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has issued a warning to Wakali Kwanza criminal gang members in the coastal region following the recent attack of Nyali and Kisauni residents. The Monday night attack by the machete-wielding gang members left at least  15 injured. Appearing before justice Jessie Lesiit on Thursday, Ongoro said LSK has been following closely on the Willie Kimani’s murder trial and Ombeta’s certificate had been withdrawn.
