Police in Nairobi have launched investigations into an incident where an officer attached at Riruta Police Station was drugged and robbed of his gun in Parklands, Nairobi. According to reports, the officer is said to have been drugged in one of the clubs within Highridge area by unknown people before they got away with his Jericho pistol with 14 rounds of ammunition, phone and other valuables. Over 40 courses taught at the University of Nairobi are at the verge of being scrapped in the renewed effort to reform varsity education in the country. Ugandan authorities have launched investigations into a human trafficking incident busted in Kenya-Uganda border on Friday morning. According to Daily Monitor reports, officers manning Busia border were shocked after human beings were discovered in cardboard biscuit boxes that were being transported to Uganda using trucks with Kenyan number plates. The United States secret service has revealed that Ksh2 billion, in US dollars, seized at the Queens Way Barclays branch in March is fake. According to reports by The Standard, the Secret Service reached at the conclusion after examining 13,194 specimen notes sent to them and worth 1.3 million dollars (Sh131 million) by the office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
