Embakasi East MP, Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has been arrested outside Parliament buildings after he and his bodyguards were caught on tape roughing up a Fortis Towers parking attendant.
He was apprehended by flying squad officers.
Babu allegedly refused to pay the parking ticket and instead resorted to assaulting the attendant.
The CCTV footage showed a man, one of his guards forcefully lifting the exit barrier.
The first time MP rubbished the claims saying that the Jubilee government was trying to frame him.

”JUBILEE MUST GIVE ME A BREAK.There’s a video going round claiming that I harassed a parking attendant at Westlands.During the weekend I was in Mombasa and such claims should be treated with a lot of contempt.Kila kitu ni Babu,kama unatongoza msichana na akatae ni Babu,akikubali na usisimame ni Babu,ukisimama na ukam haraka ni Babu,mashetani washindwe,” the legislator wrote on social media.
The ‘dishonourable’ MP is currently being held at Parklands Police Station.
