    Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino To Spend Second Night Behind Bars

    Embakasi East Mp, Babu Owino in court on Tuesday, 26.

    Embakasi East Mp, Babu Owino will be spending second night in jail following his arrest on Monday.

    Babu has been charged with subversion and uttering abusive words against the President where he pleaded not guilty.

    The High Court will rule on his bond application on Wednesday.

    He will however be moved from Pangani Police Station to Kileleshwa.

    The prosecution has called for his detention as he is a threat to the witnesses.

    Owino in his defense said that he was not referring Uhuru Kenyatta as ‘there are so many Presidents in Kenya.’
